Join Ossett’s First Festive #FlashChoir

Are you an OSSETT FLASHER??

Want to join in some communal Christmas singing?

We thought we’d take to the streets of Ossett and do some door to door carol singing, just for fun and to celebrate Christmas together. We’re going to pick out those houses that have made a special effort with their Christmas Lights or anywhere that looks like it might be up for some festive cheer.

You don’t have to be able to sing, but you do have to have a willingness to have a go.

HERE’S WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART.

1. Download these songsheets, FLASH CHOIR SONG SHEETS

2. Get yourselves a torch and a Seasonal Hat, some Jingle Bells and maybe some battery operated fairy lights?

3. Put on your comfy shoes there’s about an hours walking to do, it is gentle walking on pavements.

4. Meet us at St Mary’s Room, Trinity Church Centre, Trinity Church, Church Street, Ossett at 6.15pm on Thursday 19th December.

We don’t know who might turn up, or what will happen, and that’s part of the fun. We’ll have a little practise before we set off and then hit the streets.

We aim to be back at Trinity for 8pm.

Everyone that comes will get a lovely #FlashChoir Badge and we’re so utterly thrilled that we’ll be joined by Curly one of the #FlockToOssett Sheep who has been enhanced and illuminated by our dear pals at Faceless Arts. Thank you Tony Wade and Helen Thomas.

Good luck with the flash choir. Fabulous idea. Have only just seen the Facebook post and would have loved to be part of it but can’t make it tonight. Best wishes
