In January 2012 we started running a monthly Ukulele Club at Eller Coffee in Ossett. The Club was an outrageous success with more people than we could have imagined wanting to take up music-making in our town. We worked with Ossett Ukulele Club for two years, seeing them transform from a group of friends meeting for a strum around, into a performing band ‘Ossett Ukulele Philharmonia’ that played at festivals, theatres and arts centres.

There are now two Ukulele Clubs that meet regularly in Ossett and we’re pleased to see a legacy of this project continuing to bring the community together.
